2025 Annual Report

We are proud to share the Monique Burr Foundation for Children’s (MBF) Annual Report, highlighting a year of meaningful progress in our mission to protect children from bullying, digital dangers, abuse, and exploitation through comprehensive, evidence-based, trauma-informed prevention education.

The Foundation’s story began 29 years ago in Jacksonville, FL, inspired by the legacy of Monique Burr, a devoted child advocate with a passion for protecting vulnerable children. Since then, MBF has grown from a local grant‑giving organization into a nationally recognized leader in evidence‑based prevention education.

As you review this year’s Annual Report, you’ll see the impact of your support and partnership reflected in the expansion of our mission, curriculum development, and measurable outcomes for children and families.

We want to extend our gratitude for your partnership, generosity, and belief in our mission. Your support continues to transform lives, create safer communities, and empower children, families, and educators with the knowledge and tools they need to stay safe.

Together, we continue to honor Monique’s legacy by addressing the urgent and preventable issues that threaten children’s and teens’ futures. We are deeply grateful for your role in helping us protect children and build safer environments—both online and offline.

What They're Saying...

The MBF Child Safety Matters program is impressive. This important information is well formulated and well presented, developmentally appropriate, and based on good understanding of literature.

I heard about the program through my son. He came home…and showed me the safety rules. I cannot thank the Foundation enough; to have other people who are also concerned about my child’s safety and the safety of other kids is wonderful. I especially like the program’s focus on the prevention side.

There’s not a child in the world who can’t benefit from this program. There are so many instances where we see children who have been damaged and hurt. Things happened to them and we think, if they’d only had this program, if they’d only had the benefit of this education, that might not have happened to them. If we can prevent that from happening to a single child, then it’s worth all the effort we have put forth
